WIHU Europe Council Meeting
The World Islamic Health Union's Europe Council Meeting made in Skopje , where is the capital city of Macedonia, and Kalkandelen Cities on 14-15 September hosted by Kopru and Provita associations. WIHU members from Turkey, England, Kosovo and Presova attended the meeting.
On the occasion of two-day meeting, WIHU Europe Council Members visited T.R. Skopje Embassy, TIKA Skopje Coordinatorship, Ensar, and Merhamet Associations. Guests took the opportunity of visiting historical places in Skopje and Kalkandelen at the same time.
World Islamic Health Union President Exp. MD Kasım Sezen , who gave a speech in the conference, remarked that they are making a very important meeting today in here and said that:" We constituted the Islamic Unity , which Islamic World needs most, in the field of health Alhamdulillah. We are making the meeting of World Islamic Health Union's Europe Continent today in here.". President Sezen, who has remarked his satisfaction due to his presence in Fatih's Descendant's Homeland Macedonia's capital city Skopje, stated that:" Here is the junction point of continents, civilizations, cultures. Big scholars, doctors, statesmen, who have been serving for Islam, are from here. Islamic Countries started to be ahead of western civilization, which was on the rise in all sectors in the nineteenth century, in several sectors, notably health, in the 21st century. Turkey is the most important country of this countries. Turkey is one of the rare countries that provide health assurance to the %100 of the population."
MD Kasım Sezen gave information about the activities, which are made real in oppressed Islamic Geography by the World Islamic Health Union, at the end of his speech. World Islamic Health Union Europe Council Member Babikir Ismail Ahmed, who made a statement to the journalists before the conference, said that they are going to concentrate on providing better cooperation and coordination and stated that:" We want to put support behind the people who suffer like in Syria, Rohingya in Myanmar. The purpose of this union is to help all humanity without focusing on the race, religion. Because health is a need for everyone."
